The HIV Research Section is a grant-funded research unit affiliated with the SF Department of Public Health. Our mission, since the beginning of the epidemic, has to develop interventions that reduce the impact of HIV and AIDS locally and globally.
None of our groundbreaking studies can be completed without leadership, input, and support from community members. Anyone can get involved as a study volunteer, a community advisory group member, or as a knowledgeable advocate and supporter.
